Les joinvileacees (nome científicu Joinvilleaceae) formen una familia de plantes monocotiledónees distribuyíes na península de Malasia hasta'l Pacíficu. Son plantes asemeyaes a camperes, robustes, con fueyes plicaes y inflorescencies terminales en forma de panículas, con flores pequeñes, perfectes, amarronaes. La familia foi reconocida por sistemes de clasificación modernos como'l sistema de clasificación APG III (2009^[2]) y el APWeb (2001 d'equí p'arriba^[3]), nos que consta d'un únicu xéneru, Joinvillea, con 4 especies.
