==Carrera==
Formáu en [[Londres]] en 1962 por Brian Jones, [[Mick Jagger]] y [[Keith Richards]], sumándose el batería Charlie Watts, y el baxista Bill Wyman.
El grupo entamó a tocar [[Blues]], Rhythm & Blues y [[Rock|Rock and Roll]], y más alantre esperimentaron con otros xéneros incluyendo Música Country, Rock Sicodélicu, Hard Rock, Pop Rock, Funk, [[Reggae]], y Música Disco.
L'estilu de la banda basóse dende siempres en melodíes cencielles y cadarmes simples, con temes marcaes por un soníu crudu y temátiques enllenes de sexu, drogues, glamour y incluso daqué de misoxinia, estilu col que siguieron nos años 70, en desmedru de la influyencia "progresiva" de la dómina.
Tamién son conocíos popularmente como sos ''Satániques Maxestaes'', darréu del so álbum de 1967 tituláu ''Their Satanic Majesties Request'', y a pesar de que'l discu foi un fracasu relativu nel so día, el nomatu quedó-yos pa siempres.
Demientres la so xira por [[Estaos Xuníos]] en 1969, Mick Jagger autodenomó a la banda como "La banda de Rock n' Roll más grande del Mundu"; esi mesmu añu finó'l guitarrista Brian Jones nun fechu confusu, quien foi reemplazáu por Mick Taylor.
En 1974 Taylor alloñóse de la banda, siendo sustituyíu por Ron Wood hasta güei, ente que Bill Wyman desvenceyóse del grupu en 1992, anque nun foi reemplazáu con un baxista fixu.
