Anglish
Anglish ye un tipu de purismu llingüísticu aplicáu al inglés, nel cual les pallabres derivaes del griegu, llatín, llingües romániques y celtes reemplácense con pallabres derivaes de llingües xermániques. En delles ocasiones esto consíguese emplegando sinónimos y n'otros neoloxismos. Nel primer casu, el Anglish pórtase como l'inglés oficial.
Historia editar
En 1966, Paul Jennings escribió dellos artículos na revista Punch en Anglish, pa conmemorar el 900 aniversariu de la invasión normanda d'Inglaterra. Ente ellos un exemplu de cómo Shakespeare escribiera si Guillermo I d'Inglaterra nunca trunfara:[1]

El fechu ye que outrageous vien de les llingües romániques, en concretu del francés antiguu outrageux, lo cual paez que Jennings nun apreció. Per otra parte, mind ye d'orixe anglosaxón, polo cual nun había razón pa camudalo.
El compositor australianu Percy Grainger adoptó un idioma similar, que llamó "blue-eyed English", nes sos cartes y manuscritos musicales.
Términos rellacionaos editar
El términu Andersajón úsase n'inglés n'escritura téunico o científica y foi acuñáu en 1992 por Douglas R. Hofstadter como un xuegu de pallabres relativu al idioma anglosaxón y con una referencia al autor de ciencia-ficción Poul Anderson. Anderson introdució'l términu nel so artículu "Uncleftish Beholding", un tratáu sobro la teoría atómica escritu en Andersajón (ye interesáu que "ander" ye la pallabra "otru" n'Holandés y Alemán). De siguío una cita del testu:
The firststuffs have their being as motes called unclefts. These are mighty small: one seedweight of waterstuff holds a tale of them like unto two followed by twenty-two naughts. Most unclefts link together to make what are called bulkbits. Thus, the waterstuff bulkbit bestands of two waterstuff unclefts, the sourstuff bulkbit of two sourstuff unclefts, and so on. (Some kinds, such as sunstuff, keep alone; anderen, such as iron, cling together in chills when in the fast standing; and there are yet more yokeways.) When unlike unclefts link in a bulkbit, they make bindings. Thus, water is a binding of two waterstuff unclefts with one sourstuff uncleft, while a bulkbit of one of the forestuffs making up flesh may have a thousand or more unclefts of these two firststuffs together with coalstuff and chokestuff.

- Tomar emprestamos llingüísticos d'otres llingües xermániques.
- Calcos del idioma orixinal ("uncleft" por "atom")
- Calcos d'otros idiomes xermánicos ("waterstuff" y "sourstuff" del alemán Wasserstoff/Holandés waterstof y l'alemán Sauerstoff/Holandés zuurstof, ellos mesmos calcos averaos de los derivaos del griegu "hidróxenu" y "osíxenu").
