Ponte George Washington
El puente George Washington (inglés: George Washington Bridge ), conocíu informalmente como'l GW Bridge,[1] el GWB,[2] el GW,[3] o'l George[4] ye una ponte colgante que s'estiende sobre'l ríu Hudson pa coneutar Washington Heights col borough de Manhattan na ciudá de Nueva York y Fort Llei en Nueva Jersey per mediu de la Interestatal 95, la US 1/US 9/US 46, que s'atopen dafechu en Nueva Jersey y terminen a la metá de la ponte na frontera estatal.

El GWB ye consideráu unu de les pontes más transitaes del mundu en términos de tráficu vehicular.[5] En 2007, la ponte soportó'l tránsitu de 107.912.000 vehículos, según l'Autoridá Portuaria de Nueva York y Nueva Jersey, l'axencia gubernamental biestatal que ye propietaria y opera delles pontes, túneles y aeropuertos del área.[6]
