Biografía editar

Como componente de The Supremes siempres llevó a los sos llombos la perda d'un posible ésitu enforma mayor, por cuenta de la determinación del productor musical Berry Gordy de dar namái notoriedá a Diana Ross, discriminándola a ella y a Florence Ballard. Empezaron bien nuevos col nome de The Primettes. Wilson foi componente de The Supremes dende 1960 hasta 1976. Tres esto siguió la so carrera en solitariu na Motown, col Lp "Red hot" en 1979. Co-escribió'l llibru "Dreamgirl, My Life as a Supreme" nel que reflexaba los abusos de la era Motown, motivu pol qu'en 1987 percorrió numberoses radios y televisiones. En 1987 grabó un single pa la compañía británica Motorcity, "Don't Get Mad, Get Even". En 1989 grabó otru single "Oooh Child", una versión de The Five Stairsteps. En 1992 grabó'l single "One Night With You" y en 1995 "O".
