Paracryphiaceae ye una familia d'anxospermes eudicotiledóneas perteneciente al orde Paracryphiales.^[1] La familia inclúi tres xéneros, Paracryphia, Quintinia y Sphenostemon. Son árboles pequeños a medianos, con fueyes coriacees, peciolaes, simples y enteres. Les inflorescencies alcuéntrase en panícules. Son natives de les rexones tropicales de Nueva Caledonia.^[2]
