Tamién actuó en películes y programes de televisión. El so meyor papel conocíu ye'l de J. Pierpont Finch nel musical de Broadway, y depués en How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Anguaño ye conocíu pol so papel recuerrente como Bertram Cooper nel programa Mad Men.

Morse nació'l 18 de mayu de 1931 en Newton, Massachusetts. Dempués de sirvir a l'Armada de los Estaos Xuníos mientres la Guerra de Corea, Morse apaeció en Broadway como actor.
