Calyptocichla serinus ye una especie d'ave paseriforme de la familia Pycnonotidae y del xéneru Calyptocichla. Esti xéneru ye monotípicu yá que solo contién a esta especie. [1][2]

Esta especie vive nel oeste d'África, sobremanera na República Democrática d'El Congu, onde ye bien común. [3]
