Biografía
editarYe fía de Danny Brooks y Rowena "Roe" Brooks. Tien dos hermanos menores, Beth Brooks y Ben Brooks, quien actuó nel programa infantil Aquila.
Ye bien bona amiga de les actrices Preeya Kalidas, Hannah Waterman y Lucy Speed, qu'interpretaron a Amira Shah, Laura Dunn-Beale y Natalie Evans respeutivamente na serie EastEnders.
En marzu del 2001 comprometióse col so noviu, l'actor Jon Newman, sicasí la pareya terminó.
Charlie empezó a salir con Tony Truman, un organizador de fiestes. La pareya dio-y la bienvenida a la so primer fía, Kiki-Dee Truman el 8 d'avientu de 2004. Dempués de salir por cuasi cinco años Charlie rompió'l so compromisu con Tony na primavera del 2006, a pesar de romper dambos siguen siendo bien bonos amigos.[2]
Dende'l 2012 Charlie sal col arquiteutu Ben Hollington.

editarCharlie participó en series como The Bill, Jonathan Creek, London's Burning, The Golden Hour, Bleak House, Casualty, Heartbeat, Wired, Robin Hood, ente otres...
En 1999 xunióse al repartu de la esitosa serie británica EastEnders onde interpretó a la villana, asesina y mala Janine Butcher[3] hasta'l 2004, darréu tornó de nuevo a la serie n'avientu del 2008 y la so última apaición foi'l 20 de marzu de 2014 dempués de que'l so personaxe decidiera camudase a París cola so fía depués de ser lliberada de prisión.[4][5][6] (Nel 2012 Charlie dexó la serie por seis meses pa participar nel programa Strictly Come Dancing y dempués tornó).[7] Charlie ye la tercer actriz qu'interpreta a Janine, enantes fuera interpretada poles actrices Rebecca Michael de 1989 a 1993 y por Alexia Demetriou de 1993 a 1996 cuando yera nueva.
Nel 2005 apaeció na película Take 3 Girls onde interpretó a la DJ Patsy, n'avientu del mesmu añu llanzó DVD d'exercicios llamáu Charlie Brooks: Before and After Workout, que se convirtió nun ésitu y llueu foi'l dvd más vendíu del país.
Nel 2010 participó nel videu "Love Machine" onde dellos de los actores que participen en EastEnders apaecieron ente ellos Patsy Palmer (Bianca Branning), Shona McGarty (Whitney Dean), Lacey Turner (Stacey Slater), Pam St. Clement (Pat Evans), Neil McDermott (Ryan Malloy), Sid Owen (Ricky Butcher), Steve McFadden (Phil Mitchell), Adam Woodyatt (Ian Beale) y Jake Wood (Max Branning).[8]
Nel 2011 participó nel programa Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special el so compañeru foi'l baillarín profesional Vincent Simone, la pareya ganó la competencia quedando en primer llugar.[9] Esi mesmu añu interpretó a Janine nel spin-off d'EastEnders, EastEnders: E20.
En payares del 2012 participó nel programa I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! el cual ganó.[10]
