editarKhalil nació en Los Angeles, California, de madre afroamericana, nativa americana - Cheroqui y Euroamericana y padre d'ascendencia pakistaní.[3][4][5] Tien tres hermanos mayores y una mediohermana, al traviés del so padre. Khalil declaró qu'ella s'identifica como mestiza.
Carrera
editarKhalil ye conocida por ser l'actriz interpretando más tiempu a Lily Winters Ashby na telenovela de la CBS, The Young and the Restless. Primero interpretó'l papel dende agostu de 2002 hasta setiembre de 2005. En setiembre de 2006 la entós productora executiva Lynn Marie Latham volvió contratar pal papel. En 2012, ganó'l Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series. Hasta la fecha, ye la única actriz d'una minoría en ganalo nos 42 años d'historia del premiu.
Khalil tuvo pequeños papeles en películes como Dragon Fury, Matilda, Interview With the Assassin y White Like the Moon. Dio voz a Cornelia Hale en W.I.T.C.H., y tamién apaeció en That's So Raven y Malcolm in the Middle, ente otres series. Khalil tamién interpretó en producciones nel teatru de Los Angeles antes de consiguir el so papel en The Young and the Restless.
Apaeció nel videu musical de Johnny Britt pal so single Beautiful Queen.[6]
Vida personal
editarEn 2008, volvió casase con Stephen Hensley.[7]La co-protagonista de The Young and the Restless Elizabeth Hendrickson foi la so dama d'honor ente que Bryton James foi'l padrín.[8] El so fíu, Michael Caden Hensley, nació'l 17 d'abril de 2010[9] mientres un partu acuáticu en casa.[10] Bryton James ye'l padrín.[11] Ella y Hensley divorciar en 2011.[12] Khalil declaró que nun tien deseos de volver casase otra vegada.[13]
Ye meyor amiga de Bryton James, quien interpreta al hermanu adoptivu del so personaxe, Devon Hamilton en The Young and the Restless.[14][15]
