Biografía

Faison nació en Newport News (Virxinia), fíu de Carmena y Edgar Faison. Estudió drama na Illinois Wesleyan University en Bloomington (Illinois). Ta casáu con Jane Mandel, con quien vive en Montclair (Nueva Jersey). Faison recibió un doctoráu honorariu de la Illinois Wesleyan University en 2002

Carrera

Faison empecipió la so carrera como actor en 1974 na producción del Festival de Shakespeare de Nueva York de El rei Lear protagonizada por James Earl Jones. El so primer papel en televisión foi na serie Hot Hero Sandwich en 1979. El so debú cinematográficu foi en Permanent Vacation en 1980. Depués d'esto siguió una serie de papeles menores hasta 1986, cuando interpretó al Teniente Fisk en Manhunter. Nesi mesmu añu, apaeció nel filme de Stephen King Maximum Overdrive. En 1988 actuó en Coming to America xunto a Eddie Murphy y James Earl Jones. Otra gran oportunidá pa Faison foi'l so papel como Barney en The Silence of the Lambs, onde tuvo la oportunidá de trabayar con Anthony Hopkins y Jodie Foster.
