Realizó estudios biolóxicos, bioquímicos y celulares de Palmaria palmata (Rhodophyta) y aplicaciones bioteunolóxiques na acuicultura.[3]

Desenvuelve actividaes científiques y académiques, como profesora del Muséu Nacional d'Historia Natural de Francia en París, y oficial curadora de microalgas, nel Herbario Nacional Muséu Nacional d'Historia Natural (MNHN)[4]
