Vida y Carrera
editarDiana Dale Dickey nació en Knoxville, Tennessee, y graduóse en Bearden High School en Knoxville.[3] Ella desempeñó dellos papeles en producciones de la escuela secundaria, especialmente'l de Emily en Our Town. Más tarde asistió a la Universidá de Tennessee.[4]
Dickey trabayó como actriz tanto en películes integradores ya independientes dende los 90.[3] Ella ye conocida polos sos papeles recurrentes en series como My Name Is Earl, la serie risible de la NBC, faciendo de Patty, la prostituta de día y como Opal McHone nel drama de la CBS, Christy. Dickey tuvo dellos papeles en películes como The pledge, Our Very Own, Domino, Super 8, Being Flynn, The Yellow Wallpaper y The Guilt Trip. Tuvo dellos personaxes n'obres de Broadway, como The Merchant of Venice (1989) y A Streetcar Named Desire (2009).[3] Dickey apaeció en papeles como convidada en numberoses series de televisión, incluyendo The X-Files, Frasier, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Gilmore Girls, The Closer, Grey's Anatomy, Raising Hope y Breaking Bad.
Dickey recibió aponderamientos de la crítica pol rendimientu na película de drama independiente Winter's Bone pol so papel antagonista a Jennifer Lawrence.[3] Ella ganó'l Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female pola so actuación como Merab en Winter's Bone en febreru del 2011.[5] Dende'l 2012 ella fai'l papel de Martha Bozeman na serie de HBO, True Blood.[6] Dickey tamién apaeció na película del direutor Shane Black, Iron Man 3 de 2013.[7] Tamién foi escoyida pa la miniserie del 2013 Bonnie and Clyde: Dead and Alive.[8]
