Mort Mills
Mort Mills (11 de xineru de 1919, Nueva York – 6 de xunu de 1993, Ventura (es) 
) foi un actor, actor de televisión y actor de cine d'Estaos Xuníos. Trabayó en más de 200 producciones, ente llargumetraxes y episodios televisivos. De cutiu interpretó a representantes de la llei y a villanos en munchos populares westerns de les décades de 1950 y 1960. Ente 1957 y 1959 tuvo'l papel recurrente del Marshal Frank Tallman na serie Man Without a Gun. Otros de los sos papeles recurrentes fueron los del Sarxentu Ben Landro na serie Perry Mason, y el del Xérif Fred Madden en The Big Valley. En 1958 foi un cazarrecompensas, frente a Steve McQueen, nel show de la CBS de xéneru western Wanted: Dead or Alive.

Biografía editar
Nacíu na ciudá de Nueva York, anque Mills fixo una gran cantidá de trabayos pa la televisión, él tamién actuó de manera consistente pal cine. Asina, encarnó al patrulleru de carreteres qu'escorría a Janet Leigh nel clásicu d'Alfred Hitchcock Psycho (1960). Poco dempués volvió trabayar con Hitchcock faciendo'l papel d'un granxeru en Cortina resgada (1966).[2][3] Mills tamién trabayó con Charlton Heston na cinta d'Orson Welles Touch of Evil (1958).[4]
En 1955 foi Samuel Mason na miniserie p'ABC, incluyida en Walt Disney anthology television series, Davy Crockett, protagonizada por Fess Parker. Dende 1957 a 1959, Mills actuó xunto a Rex Reason na serie western Man Without a Gun,[5] interpretando al Marshal Frank Tillman. Nel filme de 1965 de The Three Stooges The Outlaws Is Coming, encarnó a Trigger Mortis.[6]
Mills tamién foi regular como'l Teniente de la policía Bob Malone na serie de Howard Duff pa la NBC y Four Star Television Dante (1960–1961), ambientada nun nightclub de San Francisco (California) llamáu "Dante's Inferno".
La prima de Mills, Mary Treen, foi tamién una actriz cinematográfica.
Mort Mills finó en 1993 en Ventura (California), por causa de una quema provocada por un pitu. Los sos restos fueron encenraos, y les cenices apurríes a los allegaos.
