Kaitlyn robló un contratu a fines de 2009 con Indie Estreme pal llanzamientu del so álbum debú You Were Meant To Be.[1] L'álbum foi llanzáu'l 1 d'avientu de 2009.[2]
Maher participó na película animada de Disney, Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa Paws [Títulu curtiu: Santa Buddies][3] faciendo la voz de Tiny,[4] que foi llanzada'l 24 de payares de 2010 n'Estaos Xuníos. Llogró'l papel protagonista como la güérfana Quinn en The Search for Santa Paws que sigue la hestoria qu'empezó en Santa Buddies. Ta programáu pa estrenase'l 23 de payares n'Estaos Xuníos.[5] En 2012 empezó a grabar Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups col papel protagonista de Sarah [1]
Visión xeneral
editarMaher empezó la so carrera na tercer temporada America's Got Talent onde terminó ente los 10 finalistes.[6] Los productores del show primeru fueron conscientes del video que Kaitlyn xubiera a YouTube. El video foi fechu dempués de que pidiera cantar nuna fiesta de cumpleaños. Cinco meses dempués del video, los padres de Maher recibieron una llamada de NBC's America's Got Talent preguntando si queríen que audicionara pa la tercer temporada.
