Mary Katherine Bryan (13 de febreru de 1877, Maryland – 1926, Muskegon) foi una micóloga, botánica, y fitopatóloga d'Estaos Xuníos,^[1] que les sos investigaciones centrar na mancha de la fueya, y antracnosis causaes por bacteries.^[2]

Yera aborixe de Maryland. En 1908, llogró'l B.Sc. pola Universidá Stanford. En 1909, foi a Washington, DC pa tomar un cargu como asistente d'horticultura y botánica na Oficina de Producción Vexetal del U.S. Department of Agriculture a les órdenes d'Erwin Frink Smith, el xefe de fitopatoloxía del USDA.^[3] Bryan foi una de los venti asistentes que Y. F. Smith contrató mientres la so permanencia nel USDA, permaneciendo hasta 1939.^[4]^[5]

Depués, foi profesora na Universidá de California en Berkeley, onde realizó importantes trabayos sobre'l cancro de tomate y enfermedaes similares.^[6]
