Grethe Rytter Hasle

Grethe Rytter Hasle (3 de xineru de 1920, Horten – 9 de payares de 2013, Bekkestua) foi una profesora, planctóloga, y botánica noruega, que llogró una llicenciatura en historia natural pola Universidá d'Oslu. Tuvo ente les primeres muyeres profesores de ciencies naturales na Universidá d'Oslu, especializándose nel estudiu del fitoplancton.

Biografía

Aborixe de Borre, Horten; fía del contramaestre Johan Kristian Rytter (1890–1966) y de la so esposa Nicoline Olava Nielsen (1885–1976). Casóse con Hans Martin Hasle y tomó el so apellíu; él finó en 1971. Moró en Ekeberg, Akershus y finó en payares de 2013.

Actividaes académiques

Graduar del Colexu Elverum DE Profesores en 1942, y graduóse pola Universidá d'Oslu en 1949. La so primer publicación foi Phototactic vertical migration in marine dinoflagellates (Migración vertical fototáctica en dinoflagelados marinos). Y tomó el grau dr.philos. en 1968 cola tesis An Analysis of the Phytoplankton of the Pacific Southern Ocean (Un analís del fitoplancton del Océanu Pacíficu Sur).

Bacillariophyceae.

Foi contratada como profesora de la Universidá d'Oslu en 1961, y depués foi profesora de botánica marina de 1977 a 1990. Foi la tercer muyer profesora na Facultá de Matemática y Ciencies Naturales, y foi incluyíu na Academia Noruega de Ciencies y Lletres en 1980 como la única investigadora nesi momentu representando a les ciencies naturales. Tamién foi profesora visitante na Universidá de Texas A&M de 1968 a 1969.

Foi especialmente conocida polos sos estudios de fitoplancton polo xeneral, y específicamente la clase Bacillariophyceae. Y tamién conocida pola revisión de les carauterístiques morfolóxiques y taxonómiques de los xéneros Thalassiosira, Nitzschia, Fragilariopsis.
